For example, outline markup will create an enhanced description, sometimes called a rich snippet, that will appear in search results. As a result of the use of microdata, the structure of your website will be simple and easy for search engines to crawl, making it easier to appear higher in search results.

Below is an example of a search engine results page displaying listings with and without schema markup data. As you can see, three of the top four results for the iPhone 11 have outline dialing data including ratings, reviews, and price. Although T-Mobile and Tom’s Guide are the third and fourth lists, using schema dial microdata can improve your click-through rate. Plus, it helps the list stand out from the rest.

In the example below, there are three Betabrand yoga pants listings on Google. Those of Betabrand and Good Housekeeping do not include additional information. However, Amazon’s includes ratings and reviews. Again, including this type of information helps search engines provide more information that can persuade users to click through your listing.
3. Example of Booking.com
In the example below, you can see that Booking.com used schema markup to include ratings, reviews, prices, and FAQs for an Orange County hotel. In their list, they include a drop-down menu that answers questions a user may have. If someone is looking and could stay at that hotel, you can know how close it is to the airport, the average cost, and the ratings.

You can add a variety of microdata based on your service or product. Schema markup generator
The process is fairly simple. All you need to do is use a schema markup generator. Step 1: go to Google Structured Data Markup Assistant
Step 2: Select the type of listing to which you want to add the outline markup. Then copy and paste the URL into the form field. Step 3: Add schema markup data in the right pane by filling in the information you want to display. Step 4: Press the “Create HTML” button. Step 5: Copy and paste the highlighted yellow code. This is your outline markup code. Alternatively, you can press the “Download” button to get the code. Step 6: Paste the code into your content management system. Once you’ve been through this process, you’ll want to test your schema markup to make sure it shows up correctly in search engines.
